Went for a cycling trip in June 2026. Me alongside 3 of our friends.

Hosts were absolutely amazing. Very helpful, supportive and lots of local knowledge when it came to cycling and things to do.

Very flexible and accommodating with requests. Food was amazing and even we’re given freshly picked strawberries before one of our rides.

Always greeted with a smile and made sure we had all our needs met.

Parking space available, bike tools and pumps were shared.

Property is modern and very clean. Good showering facilities with good pressure. Amazing garden and views.

Amazing getaway from the hustle of the main towns.

Heads up – if you are a cycling and do not know about col du Auris…. You will by the end of your trip 🙂

Les hôtes sont à la fois discrets, toujours disponibles et bienveillants ; le chalet est superbe, étincelant de propreté et raffiné dans les moindres détails ; même les serviettes de toilettes sont moelleuses et légèrement parfumées. Cadre champêtre et calme absolu. Petit-déjeuner et repas de qualité ; plus aucune envie de quitter les lieux ! Merci !

Excellent accueil ; beaucoup de gentillesse et savoir vivre, chambre claire agréable ; tout le confort, jardin agréable vu super sur les montagnes, parking, tout a été bien pensé.

Petit déjeuner et table d’hôtes rapport prix qualité, super ; cuisine varié innovante ; je recommande.

Seul point embêtant, les commerces et restaurants nécessite de prendre son véhicule.

Wij zijn een week verbleven (juli 2025) bij de Chambre d’Hôtes van Mariëtte en Marcel, een absolute aanrader! Na het fietsen en/of wandelen is dit een heerlijke uitvalsbasis om tot rust te komen. Vanuit de kamer (met overigens fijne bedden en douche) loop je zo de tuin in met een geweldig uitzicht op de bergen. ’s Avonds kun je mee dineren met Mariëtte en Marcel, waarbij Mariëtte je een heerlijk driegangen-diner voorschotelt. Ook het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid: yoghurt, fruit, verschillende soorten brood etc. En elke dag variatie!

Me and 3 friends arrived here later than our expected arrival time due to our original flight being cancelled. We were allowed to build our bikes in their front yard in the late evening and we tried our hardest to keep the noise down. They have a great storage shed for bikes. The rooms were clean and everything provided that we needed. Perhaps some toiletries would be helpful but luckily we had ours.

Breakfast in the morning was sufficient and the views from the bedrooms and dining room are amazing. We really made the correct decision to stay further up than the valley just for those views.

Both hosts were friendly and perhaps were a little nervous with us to begin with but we did our best to help them calm their nerves. 4 guys can be pretty loud at times!

They went out of their way to make us sandwiches for one of the days when we would not be around for breakfast as we needed to leave early.

All in all it was a great stay and they were great hosts. Amazing location and amazing hosts. Will look to book again in the future.
